Yarn Squirrel can make a shareable picture of a project — the photo, the details, and what you used — so you can post it or send it to whoever asked what you were making.
Open the project and choose to share it. You’ll see a preview before anything leaves your phone, and then the usual share sheet: Messages, Instagram, saving it to Photos, whatever you like.
What’s in the picture
Your project photo, the name, and the making details — the yarn and the bits that went into it. It’s put together to be readable at the size people actually view things, rather than being a screenshot of the app.
Nothing is posted for you
Yarn Squirrel makes the image and hands it to you. Where it goes is entirely your choice, and it doesn’t post to Ravelry or anywhere else on your behalf.
Worth a glance before you send it: if your notes mention what something cost, or who it’s for and it’s meant to be a surprise, you may want to tidy that up first.
